Two 12-year-old boys, one who was out on bail, have been arrested after allegedly kicking and punching a female hotel employee after she asked them to leave the area.

Two 12-year-old boys, one who was out on bail, have been arrested after allegedly kicking and punching a female hotel employee after she asked them to leave the area.
Police investigations led to two 12-year-old boys being arrested on Thursday.
The boys were charged in relation to an alleged assault at an Aplin Street hotel last month.
It will be alleged around 4.35pm on Sunday April 23, the boys were asked to leave the entrance area of the hotel by a 33-year-old female employee.
The boys allegedly kicked and punched the woman multiple times before fleeing the area on foot.
It will be further alleged that both boys were involved in other offences in Cairns City and Smithfield for which they were also charged.
A 12-year-old Manunda boy was charged with one count of assault and three counts of stealing.
A 12-year-old Manoora boy was charged with one count each of assault and breach of bail.
Both boys will appear before Cairns Children's Court at a later date.
