Traffic stops for multi-vehicle crash at Trinity Beach

Three people have been assessed by paramedics after a multi-vehicle crash which caused traffic delays on Captain Cook Highway this morning.

Three people have been assessed by paramedics after a multi-vehicle crash which caused traffic delays on Captain Cook Highway on Thursday morning.

Queensland Ambulance Services confirmed they were responding to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Aropa Street and the Captain Cook Highway at Trinity Beach on Thursday morning.

A QAS spokeswoman said they responded to the call around 8.30am where one crew assessed three patients involved in the crash.

Two patients had no injuries and required no further assistance.

One patient was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

Traffic has now cleared in both directions.
