A POLL that ran for a week to crown the cutest toddler in Cairns has been decided by our readers who flooded our Facebook post with hundreds of nominations.

Bentley Park’s 16-month-old Jackson Wilcox has won the votes (and hearts) all across the region as his mother, Kimberley Wilcox said the win has been a confirmation to what they’ve all believed.

“We always thought he was the cutest but I thought we were just biased,” she said.

“We have an extended family group chat that I sent the link to and made them vote.”

Going from walking to running in the span of three weeks, Ms Wilcox said her son is full of life and energy.

“The daycare said he ran before he walked,” she said.

“We love taking him to the playground, he absolutely loves our afternoon walks.”

Mateo Pau, who is one year and five-month-old and two year and five-month-old Vynnie Fulton are the runners up for Cairns Post’s Cairns’ cutest toddler.
