Prepare to leave notice issued for Innot Hot Springs, Mount Garnet
A prepare to leave warning has been extended for the Atherton Tablelands as a bushfire threatens a tourist hotspot.

A prepare to leave warning has been extended to Mount Garnet, 160km south west of Cairns, as of 4.41pm on Tuesday.
A warning area has been identified between Termite Street, Agate Street and Coolgara Road.
Earlier, the Queensland Fire Department issued for Innot Hot Springs, 145km south west of Cairns, as a bushfire threatens the tourist hotspot.
A QFD spokesman confirmed a large, fast-moving fire was burning near Herbert River Road, travelling towards Innot Hot Springs, as of 2.25pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters are working to control the fire, however residents should not expect a firefighter at their door.
Aircraft are helping ground crews.
Queensland Police Services issued a statement urging residents in the area to prepare to leave.
“A fire incident has occurred near the Kennedy Highway, Herbert River Road and Uramo Road, emergency services urge Innot Hot Springs residents to prepare to leave,” the statement read.
“If you cannot leave, shelter indoors, and close your windows and doors, and turn off your air conditioning.

It comes less than a week since the Queensland Fire Department issued a Watch and Leave notice for Lakeland, after a 5km front burned just south of the Lakeland Solar Farm, near the Mulligan Highway.
