Missing 51-year-old Cairns man has been found safe and well
A 51-year-old Cairns City man has been found by police following a public assistance appeal to find him.

A Cairns City man who had been missing since April has been found alive and well following a public assistance appeal to locate him.
Edward Rooke, 51, had been missing from Cairns City since April 28.
Mr Rooke was last on foot at a Sheridan Street address at approximately 10.30pm on March 25.
He had not been seen or heard from since.
Earlier it was reported Mr Rooke does not have a phone or car, and would have likely been approaching members of the public for help.
His whereabouts is unknown; however, Mr Rooke is believed to be in the Cairns City or Smithfield areas, possibly in a park or other public area.
Police hold serious concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition.
Police urged anyone with information regarding his whereabouts within the last two months to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
