A man has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Cairns on Sunday night.
A Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service spokesman confirmed the man, 19, was in a ‘serious but stable’ condition at Cairns hospital on Monday morning.
Queensland Ambulance Services confirmed 19-year-old was taken to Cairns hospital with life-threatening injuries following an incident on Henley Street at 9.19pm.
“A second patient was assessed on scene, but has declined transport,” the spokesman said.
In a separate incident, three teenagers were also transported to Cairns hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Harvey Range Road in Redlynch at 12.15am on Monday.
A QAS spokesman confirmed three patients were transported to hospital with various injuries, all in stable condition.
“A female in her late teens sustained a serious leg injury, a male in his late teens with head and arm injuries and a female in her late teens with serious chest and abdominal injuries in Redlynch,” the spokesman said.
