Delicious Food Point, Smart Clinics and Kaisercraft new stores to open in Raintrees Shopping Centre revamp

NEW stores have signed up for a major Far North shopping mall that is undergoing a mega revamp set to be completed by 2024.
Sheila Neil, manager at Raintrees Shopping Centre, said among the new tenancies at the centre and its developing second retail mall was Delicious Food Point, an Indian takeaway and snack bar, that opened doors in July.
“They are located opposite the newsagency at the Alfred St entry and have a wide variety of snacks, coffees and cold drinks as well as authentic Indian dishes,” she said.
“Kaisercraft, Smokemart and Gift Box have signed up for the new mall.
“Smart Clinics are also expanding, and are due to open their brand new clinic in the southern mall opposite the library very soon.”
While construction for the new Woolworths is underway, Ms Neil said they were welcoming stage two, the creation of a new retail mall, and a new clinic.
“The lessor is working with several prospective tenants at the moment for existing and upcoming tenancies,” she said.
“We have various spaces from 20m2 to 3000m2 available, with the lessor offering generous incentives.”
Ms Neil said the community response had been positive with residents excited to see the transformation and new stores in the 48-year-old centre.
“Stage one, construction of a new Woolworths building, upgrade of Koch St mall and entryways, is set to be completed March 2023,” she said.
“Demolition for stage 1 is well underway.”
“Stage two, construction of new retail mall through to rear carpark, to be completed circa April 2024.”
