The 37-year-old man who allegedly lit more than 10 fires on purpose near Mareeba has been granted bail at Mareeba Magistrates Court on Monday.
Danny Pietrograzia was charged with 12 counts of setting fire to vegetation.
Mr Pietrograzia was granted bail and will appear in Mareeba Magistrates Court for a further committal mention on December 5.
He was initially remanded in custody on September 29 when he first applied for bail.
On September 27 a large number of fires close to properties caused an emergency declaration to be made under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA.)
Many residents were forced to evacuate.
The PSPA was revoked later on September 27 and an investigation started into the fires.
The unusual fires led fire investigators to determine the cause as suspicious and the
a warrant was issued to search a property on Narcotic Creek Street at Chewko.
