THE United Australia Party has brought in the big guns just days before the election, with Clive Palmer standing by the side of Leichhardt and Kennedy candidates.
Leichhardt candidate Daniel Hannagan said he was pretty confident with the campaign.
“For the people of Leichhardt if you really do want change, if you are sick and tired with how things have been and you really want a difference we need a different level of thinking,” he said.
He was confident despite the fact hundreds of corflutes had been stolen during the campaign. Mr Hannagan said 500 to 600 were taken out of the 900 they put out.
“It’s beyond ridiculous. It’s not just kids doing it, we actually have phone footage of people driving teslas doing stuff,” he said.
“The worst thing for me is I’ve actually organised for everyone who wants to get their corflutes recycled and they’re throwing them in the creeks.”

Mr Palmer was there to support Mr Hannagan.
“I think if you look to the future with Dan, you can’t go wrong. He’s enthusiastic, he’s at the stage of life where he can contribute,” Mr Palmer said.
Three main economic policies were discussed by Mr Palmer.
“We believe all home loans should be restricted to a maximum cap of three per cent for the next five years,” Mr Palmer said.
The party would also bring back a trillion dollars of Australian super back to Australia instead of overseas, Mr Palmer said.
He also said the third policy would be to impose a 15 per cent license fee on the export of all Australian iron ore to address Australia’s debt problem.
