Developer Tom Hedley has applied to build 11 sizeable residential lots with a big park reserve in a popular Cairns suburb.
Mr Hedley already has a townhouse development underway at 419-421 Kamerunga Rd, with lot sizes ranging from 238sq m to 401sq m.
The new proposal at 368-370 Redlynch Intake Road is on 1.583ha, next to Redlynch State College.
“It is proposed to reconfigure the Lot into 11 low density residential lots ranging in size from 800.2sq m to 872.6sq m and a reserve lot,” the development application states.
“As part of the development a road would be constructed within the Mayo Court road reserve and a new cul-de-sac road would be created.”
The reserve would be 5,381.5sq m.
Mr Hedley has significant projects at Goldsborough and Tolga on the Atherton Tablelands.
He owns the Red Beret Hotel at Redlynch, pubs at Gordonvale, and bought the Tolga Hotel earlier this year.
