THE number of cases across the Far North has grown overnight as the number of exposure sites also begin to rise.
The Far North recorded one new Covid-19 case. The most recent case was an interstate traveller making it a total of seven active cases across the Far North.
A Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said all the cases have come from interstate or overseas.
She said some of them were in Cairns Hospital, hotel quarantine and home quarantine.
New exposure sites were listed last night that included two virgin flights.

Borders to the southern states reopened on Monday allowing them to come in without quarantining.
Queensland recorded 42 cases across the state.
Chief Health Officer John Gerrard said all of the patients with the exception of one have minimal symptoms.
Of the 42 cases 24 are under investigation and just two have no known links to cases, exposure sites or interstate travel.
“We believe there are undetected cases in the community, we have to assume that,” Dr Gerrard said.
