Brisbane Magistrates Court has been evacuated amid reports of a possible bomb threat, preventing proceedings from commencing as scheduled at 9am.
Crowds of lawyers and defendants could be seen milling out the front of the courthouse at 9.30am still waiting to be let in.
Security guards were posted by the doors preventing anyone from entering the building.
They confirmed evacuation procedures were in place.
