Victim named in woman’s mystery death on Perth road
The 48-year-old’s body was found on a suburban Perth road in the early hours of Wednesday morning in a suspected hit-and-run.

A woman whose body was found on a road in Perth’s northern suburb has been identified, as police try and track down a vehicle spotted near where her body was discovered.
Rebecca Collard, 48, was found unresponsive shortly before 1am on Wednesday near the intersection of Wanneroo Rd and Nollamara Ave, Balcatta.
Police are working on early indicators suggesting the incident may have been a hit-and-run.
They’ve released CCTV of a dark coloured sedan seen driving through the area shortly before Ms Collard’s body was found.
Anyone with information in relation to the vehicle is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or submit a report online.
Anyone with dashcam vision of the area around Nollamara, Balcatta, and Stirling between 12.30am and 1am can also upload it directly to WA Police here.
A large stretch of Wanneroo Rd was closed for a number of hours on Wednesday as investigators combed the scene, creating chaos for morning commuters.
