Two people were lucky to survive a terrifying crash after their car ran off a cliff, plummetting about 50m to the beach below.

Two people have been hospitalised after their car plummeted off a cliff to a beach about 50m below in Adelaide.
Emergency services rushed to Gulf Pde at Maslin Beach after the terrifying incident, which occurred at about 11pm on Sunday.
South Australia Police say a Holden sedan was driven off the cliff and landed on the beach below.
Photographs depict the extent of the damage to the battered vehicle, which remained on the beach as of Monday morning as authorities determined how best to remove it.
The car’s driver - a 30-year-old Northgate woman - and her 30-year-old male passenger both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
They were transported to hospital for treatment.
Maslin Beach is one of Adelaide’s most popular, famous for both its picturesque scenery and its stretch of nudist beach - understood to be the first of its kind made legal in Australia - to its south.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing, and police have asked any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
