CCTV capturing the moment two people allegedly set a Brisbane cafe on fire has been released in the hopes it could assist the police investigation.

Queensland Police will allege two people smashed the glass door of the Logan Rd business in Stones Corner with a hammer to gain access about 4.30am on Tuesday.

The two people then allegedly poured accelerant and lit a fire before driving away from the business in a white Hyundai 130.

They were seen travelling inbound on Logan Rd.

Emergency crews were called and they the fire was quickly extinguished.

The business was moderately damaged by the fire.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who recognises the men, has relevant CCTV of the area, or has further information to contact police.
