Police are investigating after a woman fell from a balcony of a Rose Hill apartment block in western Sydney on Sunday afternoon.

Police have commenced an investigation into how a woman fell from a western Sydney apartment block on Sunday.

Emergency services raced to the James Ruse Drive, Rose Hill high-rise block at about 5.30pm after a woman was found on the street with serious injuries.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, is now fighting for her life.

Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics commenced first aid before she was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident has commenced, with police speaking with a number of people at the unit block,” NSW Police said in a statement.
