Concerned parents have taken to social media to warn locals following an alleged “groping” incident at a swimming pool.

Police are investigating a man who allegedly acted suspiciously at a leisure centre in northern Perth, following reports of an alleged “groping” incident.

A concerned mother took to social media to warn community members after a man allegedly harassed a girl at Craigie Leisure Centre on Thursday.

“My husband was at Craigie pool (on Thursday) afternoon, and said there was an incident with an older man groping a young girl in the pool, the police turned up etc,” she wrote.

“Please be cautious and have a talk with your kids on what to do if a situation arises like this especially if they are there on their own.”

Another user commented they were also at the council-owned pool at the time of the alleged incident.

WA Police confirmed they were investigating a report of a man behaving in a “suspicious manner” at a leisure centre in Craigie on Thursday.

“Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers,” A WA spokeswoman told NewsWire.
