Police are hoping to speak to a woman after three people were pepper sprayed inside a store in Sydney’s CBD.
NSW Police were alerted to reports of stealing at a store inside a shopping centre on George St, Sydney, about 11.30am on Saturday.
However, when police arrived officers were told a woman had pepper sprayed a staff member and a security guard who had attempted to stop her from stealing.
A member of the public was also sprayed before the woman left the store.
Two women, aged 20, and a 31-year-old man were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene.
Detectives have since released images of a woman, as she may be able to assist with inquiries.
The woman is depicted as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, with dark coloured hair and blonde ends.
During the incident, she was wearing a black Nike hat, black Calvin Klein jumper, black jeans, black boots and carrying a large white Nike tote bag and a cross-body bag.
Anyone with information or video is urged to contact Sydney City Police or Crime Stoppers.
