A Canberra man will front court on Thursday, charged with one count of possessing child exploitation material.
Earlier this year the ACT Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team received intelligence that the 39-year-old Bonner man was allegedly accessing the material on various electronic devices.
In February police executed a search warrant at his home in Canberra’s north, seizing multiple electronic devices which are now undergoing forensic examination.
The man was subsequently charged and is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Police have urged anyone with information about people accessing or possessing child exploitation material to contact Crime Stoppers.
