Mr Rickard was dramatically arrested last July on the eve of court proceedings against his father.

Ristevski, 55, is serving a minimum six-year sentence for killing his wife Karen Ristevski at their Avondale Heights home in June 2016.

Her body was found by a bushwalker in the Macedon Regional Park eight months later.

Borce never explained how he killed his wife, despite pleading guilty to manslaughter.

His sentence has been slammed as “manifestly inadequate” by Victoria’s Director of Public Prosecutions, Kerri Judd QC, who has lodged an appeal.

Victoria’s Court of Appeal will consider the appeal on November 13.
