PITTSWORTH'S Beauaraba Living will undergo $500,000 in infrastructure improvements to deliver better support to residents as part of a Federal Government grants scheme.
Groom MP John McVeigh yesterday said the funds, received under the $40 million Aged Care Regional, Rural and Remote Infrastructure Grants scheme, would boost the productivity and sustainability of the town's services.
"This was a highly competitive process and I would like to congratulate Beauaraba Living on its success in obtaining this funding and for working so hard to deliver quality services to residents and their families," he said.
Dr McVeigh said the aged care sector would receive a further boost through the residential aged care capital grants through the Aged Care Approvals Round expected to be announced by April this year.
