Four people were hurt and commuters experienced long peak-hour delays after a multi-vehicle accident on Parramatta Rd on Monday.
All westbound lanes of Parramatta Rd were closed for half an hour following a three-car smash at O’Connor St in Haberfield about 4:15pm.
Four people were treated by NSW Ambulance at the scene before two people, including one person with serious injuries were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

A Fire and Rescue spokesperson said no people were trapped in the incident but it took emergency services “a while” to remove the cars blocking the westbound lanes and clean the roadway for commuters to continue home.
The site is now cleared but traffic remains heavy and Liverpool Rd is being used as a diversion point.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible.
