The Logies are set to take place in Sydney again this year.

Australian TV’s night of nights will return to The Star Sydney on August 3 and will air on Seven.

As expected, comedian Sam Pang will return to host the show, after nailing it three years in a row.

“I am very excited to return for another Logies and would like to thank Seven for asking me back,” Pang said.

“It’s been an honour to host the last two years and I’m looking forward to again celebrating the talented people and amazing shows that combine to make the Australian television industry something everyone can be proud of.”

Seven West Media managing director and chief executive Jeff Howard said: “The Logies are part of the fabric of Australian TV and the industry’s night of nights.

“We are proud to once again partner with TV WEEK and The Star Sydney to present all of the glamour, excitement and fun of the red carpet and the 65th TV WEEK Logie Awards.

“Last year, the Logies proved their enduring appeal, reaching 3.5 million people and drawing a total TV audience of 1.44 million, up on 2023 and the biggest Logies audience since 2016,” Howard said.

“It is fantastic that the brilliant Sam Pang is steering the ship again in 2025.”

The nominations for the 2025 Logie Awards will be announced in Sydney on Monday June 16.

Australian snowboarding champion Torah Bright is expecting her third child. Bright, who has two sons with husband, Angus Thomson, announced the news on her social media site.
“Baby #3 coming in hot,” she wrote alongside an image of her baby bump.

“We are so excited. The boys are hyped and so sweet with their baby growing in my belly.”

Bright made headlines in 2021 when celebrating her first Mother’s Day by sharing an image online of herself breastfeeding while doing a headstand.

Is this a monster MAFS bub hint?

They have two beautiful and healthy boys, however MAFS couple Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant can’t help but imagine life with a third.

The reality TV couple met and fell in love in front of the cameras during series six of MAFS in 2019, before getting married for real in November that year.

They then welcomed son Oliver in September 2020 and their second born Carter in 2024.

And they haven’t ruled out a third.

“We are so happy and so grateful, but there’s always a small thought about, could this really be the last one, that pop into your mind,” Merchant said.

“Then you envisage what that would look like.

It really would be amazing, who wouldn’t want a large family. It all goes so fast, I would love to experience it all again. And imagine if it was a little girl, that would be the dream. But we are so blessed to have two beautiful boys.”

Merchant will be front row and centre at Qudos Bank Arena stadium this weekend for Monster Truck Mania Live – it will be the second time he and his son Oli have seen Australia’s most legendary Monster Trucks, including Raptor’s Rampage, Wicked, Blazed, Wack Doo, and Buddy.

“The entertainment Monster Truck Mania provides is just brilliant,” he said. “It is such a great family friendly event.”

“I’m honestly overwhelmed with the influx of followers and the positive reaction and laughs I’ve brought to people on this account,” Switzer told Sunday Confidential.

“It’s amazing how quickly the followers came in over just a few short months going from about 1000 to suddenly 12,000 from just doing regular posts and reels that are always getting more clicks when I couple them with great music.

“Who would’ve thought that my few years of being single and experiencing bad dates and terrible dating apps that the wealth of pick-up lines, bad comments and one liners I’ve heard have turned into 3 million views in just over a month! It’s crazy but I’m having lots of fun making and creating the content because if I didn’t have a laugh about how bad the dating scene is after divorce then I’d probably cry!”

Switzer’s Instagram page showcases sexy videos alongside one-liners like “Im busy, but I could still add you to my to-do list” and “Let’s play Titanic, you’ll be the iceberg and I’ll go down” and “I don’t work at Subway but I can still give you a foot-long.”

The posts often attract hundreds of comments from fans telling Switzer they are liking what they see.

“I’ve been coming up with the one-liners from scouring the internet to sharing ones I’ve heard myself and others that have come from friends or followers and I’m always looking for new ones,” Switzer said.

As for her relationship status, Switzer is hoping to meet someone the old fashioned way. “I’ve put the dating apps to rest for now with being so busy so I’m hoping to meet somebody organically like the good old days,” she said.

Many of Switzer’s videos are behind a paywall with titles including “Bouncing The Girls For You’” and “My strap slipped off for you
