After more than three and a half decades on the Gold Coast the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has delivered another record-breaking event.

More than 820 vessels were showcased across the three day event – a 10% increase on the previous year and the largest number ever recorded.

Event organiser Corey Rattray-Wood said thousands of visitors were welcomed through the gates over the weekend.

“I think it’s the demand and I think it’s the exhibitors that just continue to invest more and more every year that is delivering records,” Mr Rattray-Wood said.

“What we’ve been able to do, in terms of delivering such a polished event, (is) investing back into the facilities and in the industry and in our relationships within the industry.

“They just continue to repay their faith by investing in the show and it’s showing in the sales results and the visitation that’s coming out.”

The event was an opportunity for manufacturers to unveil their latest offerings, according to Mr Rattray-Wood, with close to 100 new products launched this year.

“This is the platform to really get their brand out there and connect with the audience and their customers,” he said.

“There’s simply no place that they can go other than the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show to see everything side-by-side and all in one place. That’s what makes it truly special.”

Maritimo held its global launch of the new M50 Flybridge Motor Yacht and the S50 Sedan Motor Yacht.
Riviera Brand Director, Stephen Milne said his company premiered its new 4300 Sports Express and the long range 72 Sports Motor Yacht Series II, as part of its $50 million showcase.

“For us, this was our largest display at SCIBS with a fleet of 12 exceptional yachts on display from 43 to 78 feet,” he said.

“We had over 2,000 Riviera owners in the first three days who had travelled from around Australia and overseas to inspect our premiere models and to take part in our exclusive Festival of Boating program.

“One Riviera owner from interstate attended the show and purchased their eleventh Riviera motor yacht that they will take delivery of in 2026.”

It was the award-winning Italian behemoth Pazienza that stole the show – thousands lining up to catch a glimpse of the multimillion-dollar super yacht.

The 35-metre vessel, manufactured by Cantiere delle Marche, recently won the Displacement Motor Yachts category at the World Superyacht Awards in Venice.

It was the first brand new vessel that the company has brought to Australia.
