Luxury car company Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Australia is recalling 465 Range Rover Sports due to a fault with the vehicle’s tail lights.
The vehicles affected are from 2022 with owners urged to check their cars immediately.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the right-hand tailgate and body mounted rear lamps may not be sealed sufficiently allowing moisture to enter the lamps,” JLR says in its recall notice.
“As a result, the reverse, brake/stop and indicator lamps may not illuminate as intended.
“Loss of reverse, brake/stop and indicator lamp system functionality could increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
Those with an affected vehicle are asked to contact an authorised dealer and make an appointment to have the right-hand tailgate and body-mounted lamps replaced, at no cost.
