Wild 'MumTok' theory about Mummy Pig erupts following birth of third piglet

We know she does 'very important work' on her computer, but now we have a little bit more information that points to one, rather hilarious, thing!

Earlier this week, Mummy Pig welcomed her third piglet into the world, another little girl named Evie.

But, as she looks to return to work, viewers are beginning to question just what that ‘work’ really is - with one particularly interesting theory coming to the forefront.

So… what does she do?

Over the 20-year span that Peppa Pig has been airing, the scope of Mummy Pig’s job has been vague to say the least.

For the most part, she is a stay-at-home mum, looking after Peppa, George, and now baby Evie.

But, she’s also been known to volunteer at Miss Rabbit’s Mummies Fire Engine Service, and do ‘very important work’ on her computer at home.

It’s this ‘very important work’ that people have questions about.

A number of fans have ventured online to share their theories on what she does.

“IDK maybe she's an author/writer? Because in one episode she is seen working on a children's story/book for the playgroup,” said one Reddit user.

“She could be a freelancer. Freelancers work for themselves and at home with no companies. A copywriter, editor, etc she could just have a writing job since she usually works from home,” said another.

We know that other characters in the series have jobs - Daddy Pig is a structural engineer, and Miss Rabbit does just about everything else. So why is Mummy Pig’s job such a secret?

Well, one line in our interview with the character might just tell us everything we need to know.

We’re calling it, she’s an influencer!

Following the birth of baby Evie, Mummy and Daddy pig shared some insight into their new lives as a family of five.

One of those was about when Mummy Pig intends on returning to work - and the answer was far sooner than most people would think.

“Being self-employed, I can be quite flexible,” she told Kidspot.

“I love to write, so finding time between naps and feeds is possible – but there’s also no rush, luckily.

“I’ve been writing and sharing lots about our journey with Evie online as well.”

Does this make Mummy Pig, a mummy influencer?

Given the writing aspects, one could assume she perhaps has a blog of some kind, providing updates on her life at home, and maybe some recipes or a hack or two. But, this has to come with a TikTok or an Instagram account.

Could this ‘very important’ computer work be video editing? Scheduling her brand deals? It would explain the very Kate Middleton-esque photoshoot out the front of the hospital, after all.
