The White Lotus Season 3 will be set at the Four Seasons, Koh Samui, Thailand

The Four Seasons in Koh Samui, Thailand will be the main location for the highly anticipated third season of The White Lotus.

When I was on a journalists' trip with Four Seasons in Thailand late last year, the hottest topic was the filming location for the new season of The White Lotus. 

As the luxe hotel brand has a deal to provide the locations for the HBO series (season one was filmed at Four Seasons Resort Maui in Hawaii and the second season put The San Domenico Palace (also a Four Seasons) in Sicily on the map) and Thailand had been confirmed by producers as the destination for series three, I saw this as my chance to wheedle the scoop out of the staff there. There were a few Four Seasons properties in Thailand that could have been contenders: Chiang Mai, Tented Camp, Koh Samui and Bangkok.

To their credit, everyone was wildly professional and nobody spilled the filming destination. Everyone I spoke to had signed an NDA (non disclosure agreement) and they stuck to their guns. 

But we eventually got confirmation that Four Seasons Koh Samui would be the key filming location for seasons 3 of White Lotus.

The Four Seasons in Koh Samui has 60 villas with private pools and was designed by famed architect Bill Bensley. Rooms start from $1400 a night in the low season.

Anantara will also be a filming location for White Lotus Season 3

The other Thai hotel featured in the series (which was recently confirmed to Escape) will be the Anantara Mai Khao Villas Phuket.

Which actors will be in season 3 of White Lotus in Thailand?

'Sex Education' star Aimee Lou Wood has been confirmed for the season 3 cast of White Lotus.

HBO has already announced new cast members for the third season of White Lotus, including Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola and Jason Isaacs.

When is White Lotus Season 3 going to start?

You're going to have to wait until 2025 for it to land on Foxtel and Binge.
