For many it’s a moment they’ll never forget, but for Katrina Scott organising wedding proposals happens every day.
Ms Scott started her Sunshine Coast Noosa Picnics business six years ago making picnic hampers, but high demand led her down the path of wedding proposals.
“I have proposal packages, everything is taken care of,” she said.
“That’s the way (customers) like it, for it all to be done for them and they don’t have to over-think anything.
“I provide the setting, arrange their drinks, catering, flowers, so all they need to do is basically rock up to the site and do their thing.”
She has done proposal set-ups in gondolas and helicopters, and even services requests to have photos of customer’s pets in the setting.
“You can have a setting starting at $130 and they range to $800 for the romantic canape, which includes complimentary Moet, flowers and petals.”
For Madi Lynch and Tom Kilrowe, Ms Scott’s setting provided the perfect engagement at Noosa Tablelands Escape.
“Being able to propose out in a nature setting while still having all the luxuries of champagne and cheese platters all there for you just makes it all the more special,” Mr Kilrowe said.
“We were lucky enough to have this all set up at our glamping accommodation at Noosa Tablelands Escape, where Tracie the owner made it exceptionally easy to co-ordinate the big surprise.”
