Kyle Sandilands reveals one-year-old Otto’s eye-watering savings account balance, courtesy of his “wealthy” great grandfather.

Kyle Sandilands’ son Otto is only one year old, but he’s already such a lucky kid with more money than most people will ever see in their lifetimes.

His birthday party cost a reported $25,000 and came complete with water views, a bouncy castle and poolside catering. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese came to his parents’ wedding. His dad (along with KIIS co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson) is the highest paid person in radio.

Turns out the tot is also multi-millionaire, thanks to a “wealthy” great grandfather, Kyle revealed on Thursday morning on the radio.

Kyle and Jackie O were talking private jets, when Jackie said she was worried about how splashy Kyle was with his cash.

“I want Otto to have this lovely inheritance one day,” she said.

“Otto’s already been loaded up by his great grandfather, so no worries there,” Kyle replied.

Jackie O wanted to know more. How rich is this great grandfather? she wondered.

Suddenly Kyle was coy, only revealing that he was “wealthy”.

“My child is already a millionaire, he’s already got a million dollars in his bank,” Kyle said.

“Not even one [million dollars]. What an a**hole, I’m jealous of me own kid.”

But Kyle needn’t be jealous of Otto; the controversial  shock jock has a fortune of his own.

Back in 2021, he confirmed that not only do he and Jackie O earn a salary of $5 million each, but they were on a three-year contract.

“We’re locked in to the current astronomical salary that we’re on now for another three years,” he said.

And his annual salary isn’t the only source of his wealth. His investment company, aptly named King Kyle, was valued at $100 million in December 2021.

Kyle has used his fortune to splash out on various celebrations over the years: Otto’s epic first-birthday bash, his $500,000 honeymoon and his wedding to Tegan Kynaston, which cost a cool $1 million.

Kyle Sandilands spends $1 million on wedding

The nuptials were held at a Darling Point property nicknamed “Sydney’s Castle”. The luxury heritage-listed venue is said to be worth over $60 million, and has 56 bedrooms. Although Kyle didn't reveal how much they spent hiring the venue, the Daily Telegraph reported that hiring out the ground floor costs at least $20,000 per night. Catering is reported to have cost $100,000

At the time of planning the wedding, Kyle admitted that he told the wedding planner and stylist there was no budget.

"I made the mistake of telling those ladies, who said, 'Okay, what budget are we dealing with?', that there was no budget.

"After they left, Tegan goes, 'Why on earth did you say there's no budget?' You know what she's like, she's not a frivolous spender. She doesn't like waste," he said.
