The tail end of a wild girl brawl moments after two large groups stepped off a Brisbane River booze cruise has been caught on camera.
Witnesses say two large groups had just got off the YOT Club super yacht cruise at Kangaroo Point at 3.30pm Saturday when several women clashed, throwing punches, wrestling on the ground, pulling hair, throwing clothing and screaming obscenities.
“One of the women launched ‘spider-monkey’ style at another girl, they were throwing punches and ended up on the ground,” said one witness.
“It was insane.”
In footage caught just after the main fight broke out, a woman in a maroon dress is knocked forcibly to the ground while clashing with another in an emerald green dress.
Several men stepped in to separate the two as they continued to scream and lunge at each other.
Another pair of women can be seen wrestling on the ground with one in a baby blue dress dragged off another wedged against a balustrade.
A second woman was also knocked to the ground during the chaos.
The woman on the bottom of the wrestle then stood up and threw her jacket at her alleged attacker.
Up to 20 people were involved at the height of the confrontation.
Spot fires continued to break out over the next few minutes as the two groups clashed while they walked up the boardwalk.
‘Go, goooooo’, screamed one woman as she ordered her friend away.
Many of the women were barefoot and looked dishevelled from the hair-pulling when they eventually dispersed.
Police said no report has been made.
