Given the Chance made it No. 19 on the Triple J Hottest 100 and went on to earn Harley a gold record, and since then the Queensland Conservatorium alumnus has played some of the world’s biggest music festivals, released a successful EP, Vessel, and an acclaimed self-titled album, been nominated for two ARIAs and had his music streamed more than 50 million times worldwide. In December he was awarded the 2018 Grant McLennan Fellowship, which is named in honour of the late Go-Betweens singer and awards the winner $25,000 to have a songwriting sabbatical to either New York, London or Berlin.

Harley has spent much of the past year writing and producing new material, which he hopes to release later this year.
