Ahead of the second week of his starring role as The Bachelor Australia, Jimmy Nicholson answered A-list Confidential’s top 10 burning questions.

1. Who was your teen idol/ crush?

My crush was Britney Spears (in the early days!)

2. Who are your three ideal dinner guests?

Jamie Oliver (guarantees great food and banter); Justin Bieber (for entertainment); Ash Barty (legend! And hopefully for some backhand tips).

3. What’s your worst date experience?

It didn’t eventuate, but I was supposed to go a date with someone a year ago. I asked whether or not she liked Italian food, and suggested a cozy Italian restaurant I like. She then replied saying she would prefer to go here (enter her suggested restaurant name). I looked it up and it was the most expensive restaurant in Sydney. I responded saying I would prefer somewhere a little more low key for a first date. She then insisted the second most expensive restaurant in Sydney. I saw what was going on so suggested we give it a miss. I think I dodged a bullet there.

4. What’s the movie that made you cry?

Miracle in Cell No. 7. It’s a Turkish film on Netflix.

5. Which song do you sing in the car?

Justin Bieber bangers

6. What’s your favourite movie or TV series you never admit to loving?

The Dog House – it’s about rehoming pound dogs. Definitely pulls on the heart strings!

7. What’s the most sentimental thing you own?

My motorbike – it took me four years to build.

8. What was the last thing you Googled?

Real estate websites
