'Kids' as old as 19 and 20 are sharing pics of their celebrations, proving there really is no age limit when it comes to the Aussie cartoon.

Who said Bluey is only for kids? NO ONE. That's who!

The Aussie Heeler has taken the world by storm. American fans are trying to get their head around our slang and kids abroad are walking around with little Australian accents. 

Let's just call it our payback for Peppa Pig.

Teen birthday parties are now a trend on TikTok

The obsession for the much-loved animation is showing no signs of an end with TikTok now erupting over a new trend set by teens who love the show just as much as their younger siblings (and even their parents!).

Actress Melanie Zanetti, who voices Bluey's mum Chilli, said she was thrilled to hear there was a trend emerging involving Bluey-themed celebrations for teens. 

"I just found out tonight that on TikTok there are all of these teenagers who are obsessed and having Bluey birthday parties, which I think is wild and wonderful," she said on the Logies red carpet. 

And she wasn't wrong. 

Plenty of videos are being posted online of teens enjoying their Bluey birthday bashes - for real life!

TikToker @naomiayalaaa shared some fun footage of her niece's Bluey bash, complete with Bluey bunting, balloons, treats and a pinata.

From the snaps, it was a celebration she didn't mind getting into at all.

Teens are loving the Bluey theme 

Another TikToker @just.call.me.ally has also posted a sneak peek into her sister's Bluey party - but doesn't seem as thrilled with the trend as her little sis and of course, mum. 

"What even is my life," she captioned the funny video. But her followers couldn't sympathise mum - they wanted an invite!

"YES YES YES," one wrote. 

"That's iconic," added another. 

 Another friend shared: "I understand. It's an amazing show" and others said they were also doing the same thing for their own birthday celebrations. 

"I’m turning 15 and will be having a bluey birthday party!" one die-hard fan added. 

And another chimed in: "I asked for this for my birthday next Saturday and I’m turning 19."

Bluey is for EVERYONE!

As the teens keep sharing their experiences on TikTok and the trend gaining momentum, Clarissa from Queensland proves you don't have to just be a teen or younger to love Bluey. 

Just like many others, she too celebrated her own 20th birthday with a Bluey theme. 

"It was just a small family gathering so we totally decked out the house with Bluey decorations! We had Bluey balloons, Bluey bunting! It was a blast," she told Kidspot. 

"I love Bluey because it's cute and wholesome for all ages, who doesn't love Bluey! The show has good messages for all ages," she added. 

Indeed. Not only was Mum totally on board with the theme, but so too were those invited. 

"My guests loved it! Everyone adored the bluey theme," she said.
