Forget border rules and other Covid protocols - what is paramount for many families is whether they will be able to take the kids to see the Disney’s Frozen The Musical when it opens in the Lyric Theatre at QPAC in February.
The good news is that the answer is yes with a spokesman for QPAC confirming that Covid rules from December 17 will mean that unvaccinated children (anyone aged under 16) will be allowed to enter QPAC.
Only adults who are fully vaccinated (having received two doses of an approved COVID 19 vaccine) or medically exempt patrons, staff, artists and crew over 16 years of age will be allowed to enter QPAC otherwise.
QPAC has contacted ticket holders to shows from December 17 with information on entry requirements from this date.
Anyone who cannot attend a performance due to their vaccination status will be eligible for a full refund if requested prior to the performance.
Masks are not mandatory at QPAC although it is strongly recommended that patrons bring one for use where physical distancing is not possible.
“As QPAC is operating at 100 per cent capacity under Queensland Government health directives please be aware there may be patrons occupying the seats directly beside, behind or in front of you during a performance,” the QPAC spokesman said.
Booking are solid for Frozen The Musical which opens February 10 and is expected to run until late April.
