How would you describe your personal style? I have a few shades to my style, but ultimately I’m a super classic kind of guy. I love a double-pleated, Italian pant and short-sleeve shirt or a wide-leg linen pant and over-size shirt. If I’m going casual I love a high-waisted jean and ’70s knit polo shirt.

Who are your style icons? I don’t really look to people, I love to reference different periods of designers. ’80s/’90s Armani, ’70s Ralph Lauren, ’90s Calvin Klein.

What’s the oldest thing in your wardrobe? I have a couple of ’70s vintage leather jackets.

What are your favourite brands? Giorgio Armani, Loewe, Zegna, Bottega, Marrakech, Albert Clothing, COS.

Have you ever made a style faux pas? Many I’m sure. Is heavily ripped up D & G jeans that were big in the late ’90s/early 2000s and an Ed Hardy bedazzled, tight T-shirt and matching cap a faux pas?

What’s the most you have spent on an outfit? Probably a Giorgio Armani suit.

What is the most surprising thing in or about your wardrobe? I own a lot of handbags … like for instance my Dior saddle bag (that I have a big strap on so I can wear it across my back), or my Loewe Puzzle bag or the Bottega Cassette. I like the contrast of them against my generally very classic style. I feel it makes it more modern.

Top three wardrobe must haves? Acne oversized suit jacket. Bottega High Water jeans. White linen shirt.

What is the most sentimental item in your wardrobe? My Rolex. I saved up for it for five years and bought it for my 30th birthday.

What would you buy if money was no object? The Hermes Birkin Cargo Hac Bag.

Summer or winter fashion? I’m a summer guy, but when it comes to fashion and clothes I’m all about winter!

Casual or cocktail? Casual.

Denim or suiting? Denim under suiting.

How many pairs of shoes do you own? Oh geez … maybe 30-odd pairs including trainers and slides.

Favourite fashion era? ’70s!

Best designer fashion purchase this year? Fendi trainers.

Best bargain fashion purchase this year? A Frankie Store oversized jacket.

Best beauty purchase this year? Ole Henriksen HydraBarrier Nourish Face Oil and the Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Retinol Serum. This combo has completely changed my skin for the better!
