A snake catcher has interrupted two eastern brown snakes doing the deed inside a pipe at a home, north of Brisbane.
In a video posted to the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 TikTok on Tuesday, Brandon Gifford is seen dragging the snakes out of their skinny love nest at a Dayboro home.
“2nd Time at this House this Week!,” the post read.
“Absolutely crazy, we returned to this Dayboro property where Giffo relocated a large Eastern Brown Snake on Tuesday!”
“ This time the homeowner had 2 Eastern Brown Snakes mating in the same spot!”
“This week has been a huge week, so many Eastern Browns on the move and mating!”
The Tiktok has since gone viral, with the post gaining 17,000 likes and 2.3 million unique views since it was published.
It’s gearing up to be a busy week for snake catchers, with a picture of another eastern brown posted to a Morton Bay Community page on Tuesday.
“With the weather approaching please be careful of snakes,” Amy Crocker wrote.
“This brown snake gave me a fright.”
Another member of the community group, Tanya Starr said she found a red belly snake under the bonnet of her car on the same day.
“We had a red belly under the bonnet when driving home today!” she wrote.
