The life of Queensland’s beloved wildlife warrior has been celebrated, with daughter Bindi Irwin sharing an emotional tribute to her late father.

Bindi Irwin has shared an emotional video tribute today celebrating the life of ‘Wildlife Warrior’ father Steve Irwin.
Ms Irwin encouraged everyone to don the khakis today to celebrate one of the world’s conservation heroes more than 16 years after his death.
“Join us by wearing your best khaki and celebrating the greatest Wildlife Warrior the world has ever known,” she said.
Wife Terry Irwin shared a heartwarming image of Steve Irwin and one of his animal companions, with only the hashtag “#SteveIrwinDay”.
The four original Wiggles travelled in their ‘Big Red Car’ to Australia Zoo to host a special tribute performance today to honour Steve Irwin.

It has now been over 16 years since the world learned of Steve Irwin’s death. Children Bindi and Robert Irwin continue to share their passion for conservation with the world.
