Mum 'accidentally had a massage at a full-service brothel'

"There was a woman asleep on a couch in the window. I just thought she was tired." 

Every parent knows that self-care can be hard to come by thanks to the daily grind of raising kids.

But one mum got a lot more than she bargained for after booking a massage in Queensland.

Sophie thought she was heading to a regular massage parlour, only to discover the business had some very unexpected services on offer.

"I found out that it is full service brothel" 

Taking to TikTok, Sophie recounted the hilarious mishap, still in disbelief over what was meant to be a relaxing outing.

“I just had a massage after the gym. Since then I found out that it is a full service brothel. My neck was sore. Since then I found out it's a full-service brothel.

"In hindsight there were flags and they were red and waving,” she shares. 

The first one was that, "There was a woman asleep on a couch by the window. I just thought she was tired."

Sophie continues, “When it was halfway through a guy walked in and he was like ‘oh no. I’m going to wait for that other person.’ I was like yeah whatever she’s actually giving me a great massage. 

“But then she didn’t change the towel or the face thing, or anything when I left. She was just like 'out, out. Next!'”

Finally but significantly, when she tried to pay, "The EFTPOS machine was not working. I had to pay through PAYID and then she had to call someone to make sure my money went through. They were probably so confused as to why I was there."

Turns out, Sophie’s not alone in her accidental brothel visit. Viewers were quick to share their own stories.

“I did this! My back was so bad and my partner pulled up at a random massage place we saw. The lady gave me a lot of weird compliments and kissed my back it was so weird I will never recover,” one revealed. 

Another shared, "Once I was on a trip and decided I needed a massage and didn't realise at first... I paid and excused myself awkwardly.” 

But this viewer had the most awkward story: “I used to go to one place WEEKLY until one day, I saw three guys walking out and it clicked.”

Finally, this woman had a take many of us were thinking of about the masseuse: "She was probably grateful for the break."
