"The only girl name we matched on is the name we ended up calling our baby."

The perfect name for your little one might just be a swipe right away, according to one new mum.

Taking to TikTok, @jessica20 explained how she used an app called 'Kinder' to cut through the decision fatigue and land on the perfect name for her baby girl. 

"Baby name Tinder is a must for anyone looking for baby names and you can't find anything," she begins the clip, which has now been viewed over 1.4 million times.

Holding her baby in one arm, she continues, "I highly recommend getting on Kinder - my partner and I could not find a name AT ALL.

"Then we found this app and it was just fun. You swipe yes or no for names you like."

Proving its effectiveness, Jessica reveals, "The only girl name we matched on is the name we ended up calling our baby."

She concludes, "It's just so cool and it's a fun story to tell when they grow up and get older and be like, 'You got named from Tinder!'"

"You definitely have to give it a go."

Later in the comments, Jessica shared that her daughter's name is Daisy.

"This is genius!"

In the comments, parents and non-parents alike praised the mum for the tip.

"I’ve been on Kinder for 20 minutes since watching this...I’m not expecting or planning for a child," one user joked.

Another said, "This looks so fun. Genius!"

"Our daughter was named using Kinder," shared a fellow mum.

Then this viewer wrote, "My partner and I used this app too and that’s how we found our son's name, his name is Axel."

"Just downloaded it! I actually found my partner on Tinder, how cool would it be to say we found our baby's name on Kinder," replied a different woman. 

Then this person chimed in, admitting, "I was so confused for a second that you were on Tinder swiping through the locals to find a name you loved! Haha."

However some people said that they tried the app and didn't like it.

"The app suggested the name 'Keily' and that is one of the worst spellings of the name," one person remarked.

Another concluded, "Yeah tried it, didn't love the suggestions - deleted it after an hour."
