Second woman arrested in less than a year
It’s not the first time a mother has been caught allegedly feeding babies alcohol.
In November last year, Florida woman Cecil Bryant was charged with aggravated child abuse after allegedly putting alcohol in a baby’s bottle.
WEAR News reports an investigator from the Department of Children and Family Services told police a child had a blood alcohol level of .142.
Police were told a woman in Pensacola was having a Halloween party where Bryant offered to make bottles for all the children.
She told police she’d fed her child with the bottle that night and the morning after before the child became drowsy and started vomiting.

Woman allegedly put watermelon Smirnoff in baby's bottle
WEAR reports the woman then noticed the bottles smelled like the “odour of watermelon alcohol” and thought it tasted like watermelon Smirnoff.
CCTV footage from the home showed Bryant grabbing the baby bottle and returning from the kitchen while “shaking a liquid in the bottle as if to mix formula”.
She then handed the bottle to the woman who started to feed her baby.
Police checked the bottle and also determined it “emanated a watermelon alcohol smell”.
Cecil Bryant was released from prison on a $7500 bond.
