"12 sandwiches ready for the week!"

"I don't have time to make everybody lunches in the morning when I'm trying to get everybody ready for school," she explained in the clip.

So instead, she gets ahead for the week on Sunday afternoons by batch-making her kids' lunches for the "first couple days of the week."

Lauren slices a packet of conjoined bread rolls in half horizontally and places ham in a single layer on the bottom half, before adding cheese slices on top.

She adds, "My kids don't like condiments, so I don't add those," before cutting the rolls into individual sandwiches.

"You just cut them up and you've got 12 sandwiches ready for the week!" she concludes. "They last for three days."

"I'm amazed by this one"

Thousands of commenters were eager to share their thoughts on the hack, with one saying, "OMG I need to get up on all your hacks now that I have a baby on the way!"

Another person wrote, "Mum of six, so when I say I’m amazed by this one, I’m amazed girl."

"Genius!" wrote a third, while a fourth added in, "You just blessed me with this."

Someone else quipped: "Mum hacks?! These are some adult hacks too. I’d take one of those!"

"I'm a college kid but I'm gonna do this for myself," revealed a sixth.

Then one user asked, "Do they get soggy?" to which other people responded with their helpful tips. "Try putting a solid layer of cheese on top and bottom so the lunch meat isn't touching the bread. That should help," said one.

Someone else wrote, "These types of rolls don't get soggy as quickly or easily as bread."
