Martha Kalifatidis has posted a series of snaps showing off her bare behind — but there’s a reason for it and it involves her ex-boyfriend.

Relationship tattoos — they’re never a good idea.

And after eight years of having one planted on her left butt-cheek, Martha Kalifatidis from Ma rried At First Sight finally decided to have it removed and new “hubby” Michael Brunelli couldn’t be happier.

Why? Because the 30-year-old had a love-heart shaped tattoo with the name of her ex-boyfriend Marco written inside it.

“I have a tattoo on my butt of my ex-boyfriend’s name,” she explained on Monday night’s show before visiting a Melbourne laser clinic.

“Michael has brought it up a few times and I know he doesn’t like it, so I’m going to get my tattoo removed.”

As the removal process began, clearly proving to be a painful one, Martha vowed, “I’m never getting another tattoo again,” while wincing as Michael sat beside her.

She even posted a series of snaps on her Instagram page, flaunting her behind in a G-string, as the beauty therapist was about to begin the process.

“When you know you’re about to bbq your backside but your hair looks cute...,” she captioned it.

A visibly happy Michael also posed by her side.

The 27-year-old was touched by her decision, especially after having it for so long, claiming it reflected her commitment to their relationship.

“To get something removed that’s been on her body for 8 years, it (means) so much to me,” he said with a lot of emotion.

The former couple reportedly got the matching tattoos during a holiday to the Greek island of Mykonos.

“Her actions speak bucketloads for how she feels about me. This girl must like me a hell of a lot.”

Martha’s ex also had her name inked on his right bicep, which the former couple reportedly got while on a trip to the Greek island of Mykonos in 2012.

It was also reported Michael would cover up the tat with duct tape every time they got intimate — safe to say she won’t be getting a relationship tat anytime soon.

He was that happy about it he even posed in a selfie with his wife, as she laid on the laser clinic’s treatment bed.
