"For mama": The sweet drive-thru exchange
While at the drive-thru, the woman ordered a meal and an ice cream cone for her son.
As she handed over the cone to her child, she playfully took a bite from the top.
"The guy working the drive-thru chuckled, and I responded: 'tax'," she recalled in the post.
He then asked her if she liked M&Ms, to which she said, "WHO DOESN'T?! Those are my favourite!"
To her surprise, the worker disappeared briefly and returned with a McFlurry sprinkled with extra M&Ms, completely free of charge.
Handing it over, he smiled and said, "For mama."
"Not only did that make my day, but it made my son’s day too! My son said, 'I love that!! That guy deserves a raise!'" the mum said.
"We think that worker is a boy who loves his mum and recognises other mamas too."

"His mama did a good job"
The post quickly gained traction as people poured into the comment section to share their takes on the event.
One user exclaimed, "OMG and the extra M&Ms too!!!!"
Another commenter agreed: "His mama did a good job."
And a third added: "He must have a wonderful mum to see value in a complete stranger who’s a mother."
This sentiment was echoed by many others, with one user declaring, "Oh my goodness, the goodness in this world. 🙌🏻 It's rare, but it's there."
The story also resonated with other mums, as one user shared, "This has happened to me a few times! It’s always so kind of them to recognise that we’re always just getting something for our kids and often not getting anything for ourselves!"
Indeed, as many agreed, "it's the little things" that often make the biggest difference to our days.
We can't get enough of this random act of kindness (and hey, we might even try out the 'mum tax' trick next time to see if we could score a cheeky McFlurry too! 😏)
