'Life-changing' Kmart storage solution caravanners are now obsessed with

A caravan can only be so big, so storage beyond a certain point can feel like a battle.

But, Kmart has come to the rescue with a solution to create space where there isn't any, and it’s truly a game changer.

An Aussie caravan owner has taken to Facebook to share a product from Kmart she says has been life changing as far as storage is concerned.

“Pardon our shoes but these $8.50 stick-on storage containers from Kmart have been great for our shoes we take off coming into the caravan. Stay secure too when travelling,” she wrote.

In the picture, the woman has used Kmart’s Medium Adhesive Shelf, retailing for $8.50, on her wall for shoes.

The product is generally advertised as being good for makeup, skincare and accessories, and would be useful in your bathroom at home, as one reviewer agreed.

“Seems to be staying up so far. Great for the bathroom,” they wrote.

But, it seems it works for your caravan as well!

Kmart strikes again

This isn’t the first time a Kmart product has gone viral for its handiness in a caravan.

Just last week, an Aussie caravanner took to Facebook, asking for tips on how to store fruit on the go when you have no storage space to spare.

While most people recommended a fruit hammock as a DIY option, many others recommended installing wall planters from Kmart or Bunnings to do the job.

"Bunnings wall planter with the insert taken out works well," one commenter said.

"This is a half-circle garden basket that I bought from Bunnings. I sprayed-painted it in black and hung it on the wall with Fusion Loc hooks. Works well for us," another said, sharing a photo.

Campers have also been obsessed with Kmart’s 2 Pack Clear Packing Cubes in White, available at the store for just $12, for storing toys and other goodies on the go.

“The way I RAN,” said @corinne_mymayfair in her video about the products.

“This is the best storage solution for all those small toys and craft pieces (and I can think of about 30 more things). Thank me later!”

Though, given they are packing cubes, these products are designed to sort out clothes and toiletries in a suitcase, commenters on the post were quick to point out how helpful they would be for storing small toys, either at home or on the go.

“This would be amazing for puzzles!” said one commenter.

“Great hack! I have to make another trip to Kmart,” another said.
