Want to work out like a Kardashian? Kim just dropped her latest exercise routine, so we've detailed all the exercises she tackles each workout, plus exactly what they're good for.

If ‘Get fit’ was high on your list of New Year’s resolutions, then it pays to have some guidelines from a pro on how to get there.

And when it comes to celebrities who make their time in the gym count, we can’t think of many who are more driven than Kim Kardashian.

Setter of beauty standards for years (and years to come, we’re sure), Kardashian’s body has always been under the microscope.

And whether you agree with her decisions or not – remember her crash dieting to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s dress? – you can’t deny she knows what she wants and how to get there when it comes to her fitness goals.. With a little help of course.

Now, in a new series of Instagram stories, Kardashian is shedding light on her latest workout routine, crafted by her trainer Senada Greca. So if you’re looking to emulate Kardashian’s drive in 2024, here’s where you should start.

Romanian Deadlifts

Kardashian’s first story showed her doing a set of Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs), with the caption “Leg day RLDs”.

RDLs are used to increase both strength and flexibility, specifically to “increase hip mobility and target the glutes,” according to Healthline

Hamstring curls

Next up, a few sets of hamstring curls, which Kardashian does using a roller to move her legs back and forth.

“@seneca.greca is always telling me to slow it down but I actually couldn’t here. These [sic] hamstring curl is a killer!” she wrote.

Hamstring curls are used to, unsurprisingly, build strength in the hamstring muscles, which “function together to bend your knee and move your thigh back. This helps you walk, run, and jump,” writes Healthline

Hip thrusts

She may be known for her physique but that doesn’t mean Kardashian loves every exercise thrown her way.

“I hate these hip thursts!” she captioned another video. "[Seneca] makes me do them three times a week! Consistency is key!

“We use the leg extension machine and a bench! Creativity is also key!" she said.

Stronger Wellness credits hip thrusts with “increased strength and power in the glutes and hips, improved athletic performance, and improved posture.”

Step-ups

She’s also not a fan of step-ups it seems, writing on another video that “Step Ups are deadly too but a must!”.

Dr Edward R. Laskowski tells the Mayo Clinic “A step-up is a simple body resistance exercise that works muscles in the legs and buttocks. A step-up targets the quadriceps, here, and hamstrings, here, as well as the gluteal muscles in the buttocks.

“This is a good general lower body conditioning exercise.”

Standing cable abductions

Kardashian finished off her gym instructional with a video of her performing "standing cable abductions” – i.e. A lateral leg raise using a resistance machine.

Laskowski tells the Mayo Clinic “the standing hip abduction targets the hip abductor muscles, which are located here, on the outside of the hips. This exercise helps promote strength and stability in the hip muscles when walking or running.”
