If you're a fan of the trend, you've probably eyed off pieces from brands like DISHH and AERE but never *added to cart* due to their hefty price tags. 

But just because you're watching your wallet, doesn't mean you have to miss out on the fabric of the moment.

Enter, Kmart's linen-blend range - perfect for a Spring fashion reset or to start building your summer capsule wardrobe.

Sleeveless Linen Tank, $15

Nothing says summer more than linen, and a matching white set is the quintessence of this. 

Not only will it help you avoid a literal meltdown when it's scorching hot outside, but you'll also look super put-together while staying cool.

Priced at just $15, this sleeveless linen tank forms one-half of what is going to be my go-to outfit this summer, ensuring I look elevated yet effortless no matter where I'm off to. 

Featuring a square neck and a zip closure on the side, it's perfect for just chucking on when you don't know what to wear, plus, it's double-lined so you know what that means... time to go bra-free! 

And before you ask, yes, it looks just the same as regular linen, despite being a linen blend.

So crisp!

Double Cloth Shorts, $15

The second part of this easy-to-wear set are these double cloth shorts. They're also 15 bucks, meaning you'll get the whole look for just $30!

They're super comfy and stretchy thanks to the elastic waistband (hello, holiday eating) and go perfectly with the linen top, tucked in or out. 

I paired them with some woven, open-toe mules, a pearl necklace and bag and some brown sunnies for a classic and sophisticated vibe.

But I also totally foresee myself just wearing this to the beach with some Birks too! 

Drawstring Linen Blend Pants, $20

In true capsule wardrobe fashion, which is all about mixing and matching basics, I picked up a pair of these drawstring linen blend pants.

These are the ultimate versatile foundation, offering a buildable base for any look. I'll be wearing them everywhere and anywhere, but definitely to work too, paired with the linen shirts below.

With a convenient drawstring, you can effortlessly switch between a high-waisted style or a more relaxed, baggy fit on the hips.

For this look, I wore them higher so they had a more fitted look, and threw on some strappy rope sandals and a straw beach bag for that nautical aesthetic.

Long Sleeve Boyfriend Shirt, $25

It's all in the name... this long-sleeved boyfriend shirt will stop you from stealing your partner's clothes for good, and will only set you back $25. 

It comes in light blue and beige and features a striped print, dropped shoulder, spread collar and buttoned cuffs.

Wear it done up, tucked in, half-tucked or totally undone over your swimmers - it's the ultimate throw-on-and-go wardrobe staple. 

The outfit is pretty much complete all on its own, but because I had to wear pants (sad) I chucked on those comfy white shorts from before. I'd also rock some denim with them as well. 

Perfect for brunch, shopping, errands, beach - you name it.

Sleeveless Linen Tank, $15 and Double Cloth Shorts, $15

Just like the white linen tank from earlier, this bad boy also comes in black and so do the cloth shorts.  

In fear of being too teenage magazine-y, this set will take you from day to night, because who said linen can't be a little bit sexy?

Here, I paired the outfit with my trusty cowboy boots, a checkered vintage bag and a wide-brim hat, but I'd also like to try it with some heels and a blazer too. 

Linen Blend Wide Leg Pants, $22

These guys are like the big sister of the drawstring pants but offer an even more relaxed fit, thanks to the wide leg design. 

Putting these on was SO dreamy, as they're so lightweight and soft against your skin. 

And the best thing about the black is that you won't be able to tell when they get creased, as they inevitably do.
