Constance Hall pens Facebook post to ‘scared’ Sam Frost

The controversial mummy blogger has called on actress Sam Frost to admit “she was wrong” after the actress revealed she was unvaccinated.

Sam Frost breaks down revealing she is unvaccinated

Constance Hall has penned an open letter to Sam Frost, calling on the Home and Away actress to admit “she was wrong” and get vaccinated.

The Perth businesswoman and mummy blogger faced a barrage of abuse in August for revealing her vaccination plans.

Hall had argued that while she did not “want” to get the Covid vaccine she would get the jab despite her hesitation as a “sacrifice” for her community.

On Saturday, Frost posted – and then deleted hours later – a video on Instagram revealing she had not been vaccinated, arguing there was “harsh judgment” and “a lot of segregation” towards people like her.

The former Bachelorette, who has been open about her mental health struggles in the past, appeared distressed in the video.

A tearful Frost claimed “there’s a reason” why she wasn’t vaccinated but she was “going to keep it private”.

In a lengthy post on Facebook, Hall said she empathised with Frost’s apparent distress in the Instagram video.

Hall said she had “suffered from hypochondria my whole life”, describing it as a “terrifying debilitating hell that can swallow all of your happiness with a dark cloud of the assumption that the first signs of a sinister disease are presenting themselves”.

Hall said she had watched Frost’s video and recognised “that fear in your eyes” and understood any anxiety she felt was “real”.

She also praised Frost for being a “humble” and “sweet” person who had genuinely cared for Hall’s feelings when the mummy blogger was interviewed on her short-lived breakfast radio show with Rove McManus in 2016.

But Hall argued Frost’s video had also put her in a “position of power” for people whose mental health struggles had made them concerned about getting vaccinated.

While Frost’s “fears are so valid and so scary”, Hall argued she “could literally make a decision that could save lives” by “admitting she was wrong”.

“No you don’t need an internet hate pile on Sam Frost,” Hall ended her post. “You need a hug. Now get the jab so we can all give you one.”

While Hall copped hate in the comments from anti-vaxxers who labelled her open letter to Frost “disappointing”, others praised her for one again taking a “compassionate” pro-vaccination stance.

“Constance, you’re a shining light against a backdrop of misinformation peddlers, charlatans and frauds,” writer Clementine Ford commented. “Ignore the naysayers – you’re on the right side here.”

“My son is recovering from non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and just had a stem cell transplant,” another wrote. “We vaccine for him and people like him who have no choice at all.”
