More than $25,000 has been raised for a man who died just around the corner from his home.
Maximilliano Toro was on his way home when he pulled the car over just around the corner from his home.
Mr Toro reportedly fell unconscious with a suspected cardiac arrest.
Emergency services attempted to restart Mr Toro’s heart and he was rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where doctors reportedly found a “golf ball size bleed” in his brain.
The family was advised he wouldn’t wake from the coma.
“Our hearts are breaking, not only for ourselves, but more so for the beautiful family he has left behind,” a Go Fund Me page for Mr Toro read.
“He loved his partner Cecilia with all his heart and his 3 children were his pride and joy.”
Mr Toro’s wife is reportedly “beside herself and devastated”, with the organiser of the fundraiser urging people to donate money to aid Mr Toro’s family.
“The last thing that Cecilia and the kids need is financial worries,” the fundraiser read.
“Max, we are all so heartbroken my dear friend. You were one of a kind, we will never forget you.”
