Here's some advice.... Don't ever tell an Aussie that the REAL flavour of one of their favourite treats is not what they thought it was.
We can't erase the trauma of discovering the real flavour of yellow iced donuts. Or the internet being sent into a frenzy over the 'confusing' taste of rainbow Paddle Pops. And remember when the truth was exposed about green Gummy Bears? Sheesh! What a time.
Now, people are scrambling again. This time over the shape of crowd favourite Haribo 'Tangfastics'.

What are Tangfastics meant to be?
When it comes to the beloved Haribo Tangfastics lolly pack, people seem to have their own theories about what one of the shapes is meant to be.
"It's a key," one mum insisted to Kidspot.
"I thought it was a key too but now that you're asking, I'm not sure," another laughed.
"Tennis racquets?" another questioned.
The discussion about the true shape of the much-loved jelly lolly was prompted by a man on Reddit, who shared details about a debate he was having in his household.
“After five years of marriage, we’ve just discovered that my wife and I refer to this particular Haribo sweet as something different to each other. What do you call this Haribo?” they asked on the social media platform.
One person thought they were just a "fizzy version" of the popular Haribo ring lollies.
“I used to call them keys," another person chimed in.
And keys seemed to be the popular answer. But, it's not what they're meant to be.

It's not a key, it's a dummy!
According to the German confectionery company, the shape is not a key, despite popular opinion.
It is actually a baby's dummy!
A product description written on the Haribo website confirms the shape, saying: "The original tangy mix, HARIBO Tangfastics provides a fun tangy taste sensation with a perfect hit of sweet and sour. Containing our popular fizzy cola bottles, sour cherries, dummies, and crocodiles."

That is a strangely shaped dummy
While the debate has been settled, many people online weren't having it.
Another Reddit thread discussing the shape was flooded with people insisting they'll still be calling them 'keys.'
“It’s a dummy, but I call it the key," one person commented.
"I know they’re apparently dummies. But they’re clearly not dummies," another agreed.
And then came the people who let their minds go... THERE. Yes, X-rated.
"Those are for men," one cheeky person commented, referring to the shape of an adult sex toy.
"Thought the same thing," another giggled.
Don't pretend you didn't see it too!
