Perhaps Australia’s most delicious (and important) invention, the Tim Tam is an icon of our nation. In fact, it’s so iconic that every year on 16 February we celebrate National Tim Tam Day – which IMO should be a public holiday (Prime Minister, take note if you’re reading this).
Last year, the beloved bikkie was voted Arnott’s most popular product (no surprises there!) So, to celebrate its legendary status and mark this special day, we’ve rounded up our most popular recipes that feature the terrific Tim Tam.
Tim Tam cake
If you’ve ever dreamed of eating a comically huge Tim Tam, then here’s your chance! This cake is a giant Tim Tam look-a-like made from a decadent chocolate cake filled with fluffy chocolate buttercream and crushed Tim Tams, covered in a rich chocolate ganache. That’s what we call a Tim Tam slam dunk!
Fairy bread jelly slice
If you’re a fan of White Chocolate Tim Tams, then you must try our fairy bread jelly slice. It was created by one of our most legendary Aussie recipe creators Kim Coverdale and has been the reason for many a viral alert on Facebook. This eye-catching dessert has a White Chocolate Tim Tam base, a condensed milk filling, a creaming soda jelly top and of course, a TON of sprinkles. Perfect for kids’ parties, perfect for adult soirées (we don’t judge).

No-bake Tim Tam cheesecake
There’s only one dessert better than a no-bake cheesecake – a no-bake Tim Tam cheesecake. This triple chocolate showstopper is made up of three layers of chocolatey cheesecake plus white, dark and OG Tim Tams. It’s truly a cheesecake for the Tim Tam fanatic and is a 5-star favourite among our members on special occasions.
Tim Tam Baileys and Iced VoVo truffles
When Tim Tams and Baileys come together, boozy magic happens. You only need condensed milk, Baileys, chocolate and an array of Tim Tams to whip up these morsels of decadence. And if you’re an avid Arnott’s bikkie eater then you’ll want to try out the Iced VoVo truffles too. These were hugely popular with our users at Christmas, but we don’t discriminate and think they’re just as welcome at afternoon tea or a dinner party, too.
5-ingredient Tim-Tamington slice
Another masterpiece by Tim Tam wizard Kim Coverdale, it only takes five ingredients to pull together this slice tribute to the lamington. It features an OG Tim Tam base topped with packet mix chocolate cake, chocolate icing and coconut (because it’s just not a lamington without coconut!). Prepare to make this ultra-Aussie slice over and over again – it’s that good!
